NHL 15 Demo opinions?

It matters because people play goalie in this league and if the league decides to go to 15 on the 360 it maybe very tough to play and take time getting use to. Also I know there is no EASHL/OTP but even be a pro and games that you play as a user goalie are going to be very difficult, in my opinion 14 is the better option for goaltenders.

 

nhl 15 on the 360 is gonna be nearly the same game as 14, i doubt it will be much different.

 

Playing goalie in the demo is quite painful for sure but it's because with the demo's sliders every single shot is an absolute bullet to the top shelf. The demo's version of missing the net is hitting the post. I wouldn't worry about it though as that will all be adjusted later - the sliders for the demo are all out of whack for sure and with no 6v6 - there's no point in playing goalie anyways.

Yea thats what I thought to but I went back to NHL 14 and played some Moments live with the goalies and then went back to NHL 15 and they still feel small to me, I did how ever come out of my net more like you said and that seemed to help. It doesnt help that the demo tuner for shooting is higher then it will be on release.

 

If you sold your 360 and NHL14 to get the one I see your point in wanting to stick with NHL 14 cause EA fucked you

I played with both Lundy and Quick, I think I posted on page 2? I found it smooth and it was easy to see the shots coming ...they are quick though. Few back passes messed me up but other then that I found it really good generally.

You guys are a bunch of babies. NHL 11-14 EASHL all sucked dick glad they are taking extra time to figure something out.

 

Then you realize they've had almost 2 years to figure it out to at-least put it out for Next-Gen and you come back to planet Earth. Every other EA studio was ready for the Xbox One launch date, the NHL area isn't even ready a year later. Thank god the fan at the top of the arena I can barely see can order some popcorn and take a selfie though. The offline portion is fine, so I can't see why they didn't put EASHL in besides the fact they clearly didn't put ANY work into online game modes. You call it taking time to figure something out, I'll call it like I see it and say they're lazy, understaffed, and focused too much on unnecessary areas like fans doing random actions and having the NBC logo, and announcers you'll see for 1 second before you hit A to skip that annoying shit.

That being said, 15 on the 360 is looking like a mirror copy of 14 with new menus and an NBC logo, so I'd be completely against moving to 15 unless someone plays the early release and shows us EA actually decided to touch the 360 version, but their refusal to answer questions or talk about last-gen consoles leads me to believe they smacked Bergeron on the cover and called it a new game.

You know what guys we gotta think servers. 15 takes priority on 2 xbox consoles and that means 14's will only get worse but that may not be true you never know but that's really the only main concern in my mind. Yeah you want to have the best game possible or you don't want to buy it twice but what are u gonna do when you just want to play like a couple drop ins or something. No one will be playing so that means no servers to play on because everyone has moved on to 15. Which ever way the league goes they can go. I am up for both sides and just want to play so 6v6 NHL in this league.

 

Also everyone talking on the forums at this time in the season is the ones who really care. If you're not here then you really don't care at all. There should be a voting poll made and if you show up you get a say and a vote leave it up for a while that way everyone might end up seeing it. If you don't show up then we should just assume you didn't care and the people who really wanted to play gave their opinion to make a decision on where this league should go.

 

Go play NHL14 alone in your basement and be mad at the world pretentious little bitch.
