NHL 15 Demo opinions?

I dont get it. People complain about the game being the same year after year but when they change things up a lot, people wanna go back to the older game. I know some of the features are completely stupid and automatic but this is the most realistic hockey game ive seen. And stop saying 15 on 360 is exactly like 14, you didnt make the fucking game. I have faith 15 on 360 introduces the all the features minus 12 player physics.

So the logic of "I don't like this feature let's stay on 14" just means that when 16 comes out everyone will be even farther behind if we stayed on 14. The game is going to change that's inevitable - all this post has confirmed is that it isn't "the exact same as 14 but with different commentary" like everyone has been saying. All you people who don't want to give your money to EA because it's the exact same game now have no basis for an argument so JOHN FROM GAMESTOP WAS RIGHT.

 

Where did you get the 360 demo?

I just wanna roof a backhand. I still think NHL 15 current gen is the way to go, and tbh i think the people against it already sold their console.

Why would people who sold their console want NHL 14? You're not making any sense.

 

Are you saying that the features between XB1 and 360 are going to be completely different? Call me crazy, but the demo out right now is a pretty good gauge of what the game is going to play like in general.

 

I dunno about that MainEvent. Most of the big features that were focused on during development require cpu that the 360 simply doesn't have. We might see the changes to the right stick carry over as well as a few other minor things but EA has been known to slap on a roster update, change the logo - and sell it for full price. See FIFA 13 for the Nintendo Wii... and that was for their best selling sports game with a massive budget. Did the NHL developers have the budget to work on both the 360 and the XB1? I guess we'll find out in a few days.

I'm not necessarily talking about the player being built in 3 separate layers to give SICK jersey ripples, I'm talking about the core gameplay features like skating, deking, etc. and those things are going to transfer over even if it's not the exact same version as on the One. The game has small changes every single year it's never a complete overhaul so I still see the logical decision being playing 15 on the 360.

You may be right but it's EA so you never know. I think the decision honestly has to come after the 360 version is released so people can properly review it/etc. It's all speculation at this point but no demo for the 360 does not bode well.

They've already said that the right stick + collisions will not be in the 360 version of the game.

 

So as we have all said. It's NHL 14 but with new commentary, hopefully no high bouncing puck and slightly better graphics.
