The Reason i HATE SofF!!

Yeah, alot of people complained about Ghost Recon when it came out on the PC because you coudn't see your own gun. I never really cared, since you could see more of the field of view w/o it drawn, but alot of people just hated it.

The main difference between RS3 and GR is that the environments are more indoor, close quarters, as opposed to outdoor realms. Weapons are slightly different too, and kit items. Rainbow Six is more of a SWAT team, while the Ghosts are more of a silent assassin type of team.

I know one thing though, it will likely be one of the most popular FPS on the XBox until Halo2 comes out. Counter Strike will give it a run for it's money, but I think RS3 will probably sell better because it's a known commodity.

 

i just took a look at xbox.com and looked at CS....man and people say sof2 has bad graphics

 

What do you think is bad about them?

remember im not saying sof2 has better graphics...im just saying counterstrike isnt so great itself...

 

I'll agree with you there. Neither one has excellent graphics, but I think SOF2's are much worse.

RS3 seems to have really good graphics, from the looks of the movies and screenshots.

MotoGP2 has some of the most photo realistic graphics that I've seen of any XBox game (in replay mode anyway). When I first took screenshots of my custom bike, some people thought it was a real bike.

 

just watch rs3 lag like mad crazy and have no dedicated servers while cs looks like crap but has no lag....

 

I'm not worried about it. I have no problems with lag, in any game, because I always host. I know I'm in the minority there, because most people don't have enough upload bandwidth to host their own servers, so they are at the mercy of finding someone else to host and hoping that that person knows their server's limit (which usually isn't the case).

got to play xboxjon tonite....it was pretty fun...i would sneak up on him and blast his head off with a shotgun...then i would yell scream and jump on his body lol

 

so mp, can you please highlight the good parts about this game. the graphics, the lag, the stages, etc.

It's too bad that the voice channels could only hold 4 people at a time, we really wanted to gloat on the one map that our newbie team was able to defeat you guys.

I think I held my own pretty well each map considering I just picked up the game, usually collecting the most kills for my team.

Game is decent, more of an arcade style of FPS though.

 

is it fun though? its it worth $50? please give me a second opinioned review of whats good and bad.

 

online is nothing but bloody gorey goodness....single player is boring like no other however CADGEEK likes it :roll:

Graphics - ehh about a 5 or 6 they are OK... :roll:

Fun Factor - 10 i cant get enough of blasting all these prt people then jumping on there face after i shoot their head off ....if only the rk or discretion were to get it......

Sound - i dont even notice the sound im busy blastin everyone.... =P~ it is cool how you can hear people coming if they are running and here there nades bounce around if they throw one on you...


another great thing about this game is the maps....there are soooo many of them....the got deathmatch maps and ctf maps....random generated maps...and then they also have several types of gameplay...ctf...DM...TDM...Elimation...Infiltration...Demolition (CS type game)...and i think thats it

if there is anything else you would like to know about this game lemme know and since your soooo skeptical about it you might just want to rent it...
