If you run with lets say Vince Young say when rushed will that make the game less sim just because he's a runnning QB or will the this be allowed in future leagues most people get mad and unhappy at the game im just wondering because LG is all about sim.

Well, if you are constantly having him as the leading rusher (most carries every game) than it would be unsim. Usually Vick and Young rush 5-7 times a game.

If your under pressure, then by all means run out of the pocket...but if your running out of the pocket for no reason constintley it's not very sim

IMO running a mobile QB is ok as long as you keep it within reason and are NOT lining up a 5 receiver set all the time , 5 - 8 times per game is ok if pocket has collapsed and you are flushed out. QB draws are the exception to the rule , but they are mostly for short yardage anyway...

Well with a guy like Young or especially Vick, they run out of the pocket all the time for no reason. Vick will run just to have a better angle to throw when he is not getting pressured, or he'll run to the outside to leave him the 50/50 chance of running upfield or passing. Its tough, something Madden or self-discipline can never fully account for.

Vick gets out of the pocket because he is to short to see over the lineman, lol. Short QB's like Vick have a hard time finding a lane.

with the exception of Randall Cunningham and young Steve McNair, running qb's don't fare too well. Vick's terrible, he's a coach killer and will never be a great qb. Vince Young is a different story though: he has an accurate arm, although he doesn't always make the best decisions. His decision making will develop with time and I think he will be a solid qb for years to come.

Half of Vick's problem is that he always had everyone telling him how great he is. He never puts the time in required in the film room to be a great QB. If he worked hard from the outset like VY is now, he could be one heck of a QB. I saw reports on ESPN and during some games of how he doesn't put the time in like other QBs do. The guy seems to be uncoachable.

yeah but if Vick becomes more of a passing QB he will lose his running touch i think thats why he's not going to pass as much

Well he doesn't need to pass more as far as attempts go, he just needs to make better decisions and be more accurate when he does pass.

You know what's chessy? Calling hike and sprinting back or out each time to get more time to throw the ball. That is something that shouldn't be tolerated.

Unfortunately, a few of the league members have witnessed this a time or two. IMO there is no skill involved in dropping back 15+ yards and scrambling around to make a play. I stay in the pocket 95% of the time and only rollout on either PA Pass or if I'm being pressured. These rollout cheesers have to go.
