Please, stop the excuses. You guys had the chance to win with your team. It wasn't the pitching, it was the lack of big hits. Sure can't say anything about the defense, I still love watching the Endy play! To me that was the best defensive play of the year and I'm a Yankees fan!

Agreed our hitting trailed off in the postseason, but man ALL our starters where hurt except for Glavin and that jerkoff Traschel who is so bad a 14 year old could have probably done better.

I honestly think even if we just had El Duque for that series, that 1 more reliable starter, they could have pulled it off.

I still can't believe Chavez's catch, when it happened it seemed like fate. Its too bad, it would have forever been known as "tHe Catch" man it was truly amazing with the pressure and the situation it happened in.

Well since Im maybe the first to play LOL This game is great. The gameplay is solid and smooth. The fielding is natural and smooth compared to last year. When you beat out a throw or if the CPU does it feels like he earned it.

Fielding in the outfield is alot better too. A pop-up takes a good 4-5 seconds to come down so you have a chance to camp over it and make sure in your in the right position. The tricky thing I find is a ball in the gap a lot of the time I just run right across the ball but I think its timing you have to slow down a bit and maybe Im taking the wrong angle.

Trust me guys when you play this puppy you will notice its like night and day compared to last year LOL.

Believe or not Im having troubles getting the damn hitting down or maybe I just suck LOL. It seems like you have to time your hitter well before the pitcher releases the ball. What makes it hard is your hitting down on the swing stick to time the pitch but that same control is bunting as well which I dont think was in last year's game as I recall bunting was up on the stick. Thats my only grip and like I said its probably because I suck LOL.

I hope this catastrophe of a writing helps you in some way.

Man, I also thought fate was on the Mets side after that grab! I actually blame Randolph for that game, he should've bunted instead of bringing in Floyd. I gotta tip my hat to Wainright, he really did his thing against Floyd, Reyes and Beltran.

That's definately re-assuring. Did you put a lot of time in last years game? Because the hitting you'd have to hit down at a point just before they release the ball, so if I'm understanding it sounds the same. I hope the hitting feels the same because i was damn good at it, and the Homerun King from S5 is ready for another go round :D

Yeah I played last year's game alot. I have the hitting down a bit more, and in my mind I could wait a bit longer to step into the ball in last years game so its taken me awhile to get use to the timing this year. But what pisses me off is if you miss your timing on the pitch your going to be bunting instead of swinging because both are down on the R-stick which I dont understand.

I thought you just released the R stick to hit, not push down.

Forget everything I said regarding hitting Im probably way off now its a lot easier maybe I wasnt pushing firmly down to set my hitter.

Regarding baserunning which was a big pain in the ass last year, well I hit a double with Floyd and my guy on 1st was quite fast so he advance to 3rd but the OF got their quickly and I made a mistake of trying to advance to 2nd with Floyd but the CPU returned him to first which was pretty cool last year I would of have been out as I would have been caught in between the middle of 1st and 2nd

Yeah you release the R-stick to hit but you hit down to step into the swing first right

the hitting is a little different but i'm starting to get used to it. I have been hitting the bunt a little more than i like. by the way u weren't the home run king i was i had two more than u 74 to 72. I can't wait to hit with Howard.
