This will compress the week to sun-wed for the regular fights.

 

Not necessarily.

You can still have the week Friday to Thursday - just make Thursday night the big event night....or after the night of whatever day has the highest activity on the website - you can ask Tris10 for that information...but the point is to make 1 night the big event night when you can do back to back fights (per the event card)...and make sure that night is the busiest night of the week for the site.

All fights would need to be done or we wouldn't have a even amount of matches. Points determine #1 contender so someone who is not in the race could screw someone over within the rules.

 

I don't think we're on the same page unless I'm missing something. I'm only talking about making 1 night with more focus - perhaps the night where the defending champs of each weightclass vs their #1 contender fights. For greater exposure/advertising, make sure it's the night that the website has the most activity.

Yes - all other fights would have to be done to determine contenders for the "big fight"...but why can't those fights be completed by the day before?

....on another note - have we determined what happens in points distribution for no shows....and what happens if the same fighter no shows multiple times?...or even for lag outs etc? ...it's bound to happen
