In all likelihood though...I doubt the game would actually come out on Aug 24th. If it did you can expect Gamestop or EBgames to give it away pretty soon. What else could it be though? I doubt its a demo.
Could be a complete hoax, but I keep coming back to the point the game has been given an ESRB rating already, they don't recieve those until the game is in it's final stages... Is this typical with these sort of high profile games or is Halo 2 an exception?
Tony Hawk Underground had an ESRB rating three and a half months before it was released. Grand Theft Auto 3 had the M rating 3 weeks after development started.
The following is copied and pasted all over some pages on the site... hard to see at times and what i post is written hundreds of times in a row in tiny text "Seek the truth Behold the truth Reveal the truth That is the law and the whole of the law" Dont know what it means much... maybe u do
Pretty simple really. It is telling you, to search and find the truth, to understand and follow the truth, then to tell everybody. That is the law, and it is all of the law.
also, if u try different encoding things on ur internet different things appear it seems, and site seems to have new changes to it very rapidly such as every few hours...
ok lets think of this rumour at a marketing prospective, I can see if "Halo" was a small cult classic and they wanted a flashy and memorable release, but Halo is more then a cult classic, it's a Flag ship francis. I can guarantee you that Microsoft would (and all the genius's they pay big bucks for marketing) would rather do a huge marketing campaign more like a movie launch then quickly release the most anticipated game ever "quietly in the night". It's not the way big business is run.
nah, i dont like that theory... isnt it Bungies choice, its there game not Xbox''s and Bungie has been known to do things like this. Therefor microsoft wouldnt really have a say seeing as how Bungie promised to release it BY November 9th.... also they host there own online servers so it doesnt matter what xbox says im taking it, just if and when they feel like releasing it.
No it's not bungie's choice. Making Halo 2 is a lot like the 40's when they made the Atom-Bomb, They are giving every resource needed with an almost unlimited budget, But the second the finish the project their higher authority steps in to take over. Microsoft (not bungie) is in charge of the release of the game.
It's their system after all. I'd be disappointed if nothing good happens, I mean a website link in a movie trailer and countdown and no official comment from Bungie or Microsoft? Also, who says a release on the 24th would be quiet? This movie thing is actually pretty huge and will only spread...
as much as bungie & ms put into E3 in making it clear it would be released on november 9th i really doubt they would covertly release it this early especially when it just started beta on it.
One final note on the ESRB thing, if the single player campaign is done...or mostly done, that is what is rated.
well, how do we know that Beta just started? you cant always trust them. They have had 3 years... I think they woulda already tested the Campaign, and now the only online is left, which they coulda started weeks ago, and if they took so much time into making the game then it wouldn't really matter right? they shouldnt of made many mistakes
well they said as much in the weekly halo update a few weeks ago. and aside from being very mysterious they have not lied. not to mention that someone in the beta leaked test photos to 1up.com and xbgb.com
more more new SH*T on http://www.ilovebees.com It has some very strange stuff... xbox.com forums r BUZZING so many new post every few secounds it seems
