Cool look forums

have u guys seen the forums over at http://www.xbliveleagues.com/forums/ ???

man tris you should jazz these forums up like theres

 

nvm ill just tell you....

1. i like how the header is separated a bit from the sections....
2. i like the header
3. i like how the sections are separated from each other
4. i like the way the bottom of their site looks
5. i like the color scheme (ours is ok with the blue and the grey but i think a brighter or darker cooler would look better...im just not a big fan of greys and blue i guess )

 

I don't like how narrow it is. half my screen is going unused. Did they program it for 640x480 only or something?

 

i dunno my screen resolution is 1280 x 1024 and i like the way they are organized

 

well anywho those were just some things i liked about that forum and im not saying we should change this one...it would just be cool to take all the good things from various forums and kinda roll into one

 

also the banners they have in their sigs are pretty neat i think their limit is 400 x 100 px ...

 

oh god, i was scared for a second thinking about what it could be. but dont worry, when its all said and done, we will be far superior than that site.

 

um i guess but they deal with shooters soo you know whateva...i just like some of the things they did with their forums

 

What is your resolution? I programmed it so it was a 75 percent width. My res is 1280 x 1024.. it looks great on this res. I also tested it out on 1024 x 768.. it looks great on that too. 1024 x 768 or anything above should be a great look.

The plan is to be more focused towards the "shooter" genre. Lets see.. there is PMGP which takes care of the racing and then you guys got the sports down.. i guess that leaves the shooting up for us.. heh.. I appreciate most of your comments.

I agree this is like my home away from home. This is what I was looking for when I bought my xbox live. To find a place where everyone can just get togehter and play games together. Plus this site just looks cool as heck and is so easy to navigate around in.

i agree about the color scheme i would rather have legibility but it would be awesome if we could have something looked really good and was legible

 

Ahh, that would make sense then. I use 1280x1024 on my desktop and 1024x768 on my laptop. I just like using all of my screen real estate, that's all.

 

tris if someone were to design something could we get rid of the current
"post reply" "new topic" etc. buttons and then use new ones?

 

Heh.. i'm the opposite. I don't like it to stretched out!
