Well after now having played about 5 games online and trying the franchise mode, Im not really liking this game that much. The movement is pretty bad and the amount of broken tackles is RIDICULOUS. Im sorry but breaking 5 or 6 tackles on just about every run is stupid and not very realistic.

So I'll be passing on the league if you guys do decide on this game. Madden is so much more smoother and I alreadyknow all of the controls, I still cant figure out how to do a hot route. I'll be trading this in when Madden comes out for sure.

breaking tackles really bugged me in the 2k4 game. i've heard this is more of the same.

graphics seem to have a bit more "pop" - i notice the jerseys & pants have a bit better definition - they stand out better.

i would LOVE to "tune" the game to eliminate broken tackles for our league (using sliders)

OK...one game in I love this game. The graphics are sweet, the window that has action on the field during the playcall is a cool touch too. I was able to muster up 100 yds rushing w/ Alexander, and had 2 INTs on D.

I didn't see an unfair advantage w/ the breaking tackles that you guys have mentioned. I was able to break some tackles, but I don't think it was out of control.

i like a more "defensive" game, i think.

i got real frustrated last year with 2k4 because i got very few stops on defense. even when i played pretty well (season 1) - i would score almost every time i got the ball, and pray for one stop a game.

    R U playing on Pro or All-Pro?

I started off on Pro and noticed a lot of broken tackles right from the get go so I bumped it up to All-Pro and didn't notice many broken tackles at all.

All pro and it still has way too many broken tackles. Guess Im so used to the superior Madden game that this just doesn't measuer up at all. Everything about Madden is much better then this game.

Ok we get it you like Madden :) Calling it a superior product before its even released is a bit premature dontcha think?

Im starting to hear from friends with ESPN that liked it last year and they are loving it so far so......HURRY THE F*K UP FEDEX.
