yea x factor.... 1 game/week is most likely to be the settings. i guess you love NCAA Hoops so much i dont blame you, as much i love hockey. but as juji said.... most here have 3-4 leagues in average. so more than 1 game/week will be difficult to commit.
Re: 1st LG's ESPN CO 1.) Commish- I say you take a shot at it. You seem to be interested in getting it started the most, and you know something about basketball ( I think ), and you are active and all, so you get my vote. Canucksss if you don't know who I am talking about :roll: 2.) Games per week- No more than 1 game per week, 2 is way too many in my opinion, and most active people here at LG on average, are in around 3 leagues from what my quick search did. 3.) Games per season- Definetly no more than 16 since we are having a 16 person league. I actually say we end it at 12 maximum, with 8-12 being preferred. 4.) Game Settings- I agree with what Striker posted for settings, they seem to be most realistic, and have generated a lot of realistic scores from what I have seen. For thoes who don't know what he said, he suggested that we play on All American, and 12 Minute Halves. 5.) Start Date- I say we hold league sign-ups and all after Turkey season ends, and then give everybody a week to play around with their teams, then we get it going!
maybe we should have co-commmish....and name those guys first..then go from there with all the rules and etc
Well technically, you can't have co-commissioners with the ESPN system as it only allows for one person to be in control. I understand how you mean it, and I am with you...but I say canucksss should be one of them.
the Admins are currently discussing on who will be designated as the Commish for the 1st LG ESPN College Hoops :wink: so hold your horses..... and for the mean time..... lets test all sliders so we can start by the 1st or 2nd week of decemebr. tahnks. :wink:

Demanding things isn't how to get things accomplished here. Several others have stated this, but the reasons the leagues here are so successful is they are planned out in advance. While it's nice to see you're excited about the league, you are also risking rubbing people the wrong way and that's not the best way to make a first impression.
Im pretty confident that the setttings will be All-American. As for sliders, I dont know yet. But last year's game I got realistic results playing with the default settings online.
