Please Vote! Will the new league format help or hurt the AHL/CHL?

With the new NHL league format dividing the conferences into PSN & XBOX, this will cause many good-caliber players to drop down to the AHL, which in-turn will force some players down to the CHL too.

This will cause less opportunity for guys to move up to higher leagues also.

Will this make playing in the lower leagues more enjoyable? Will it make the lower leagues less enjoyable because of the possibility of it being more difficult to win?

16 NHL teams x 17 players = 272 players

272 players from the NHL from last season are dropping to the AHL. (WE ARE TALKING SUMMER SEASON)

There are 544 spots. Which means, for sure, that 272/half of the AHL players from last season will now relegate to the CHL.

This is a new game, so sign ups have always increased meaning higher skilled players who ditched summer season usually return. NHL players are also taking AHL management which also takes spots from last seasons AHL class.

The numbers suggest that about 150 of the best players in the AHL last season will be returning to a culture change who cares about playing let's pretend this is work sort of egotistic attitudes that will dramatically shift what the AHL is.

AHL has always been fun, next season is going to be like punching meat in a meat locker. 394/544 players from last season who were rostered on an AHL team will be in the CHL next season. The chaos will be great in the CHL.
