Why are computer goals allowed after a lagout?

@D4N USA not quite lol it was already gone by that point but we shouldn't have won anyways can't usually win with only a goal

 

Yeah like I was saying before it's definitely more work to make changes than I can imagine but I was just trying to get a discussion started to see if anyone had ideas about how to eliminate AI factoring into wins whether it be for or against my team

 

We started a petition to replace @Daddy Burnout with his elite computer.

TL;DR but the cpu is already unreliable and gets cones consistently unless your try and take them wide. They mid as well be able to score lol

 

The AI is most of the time a liability for the team it's on. You just got the short end of the stick when it scored on you. Most time's I've seen the AI set up for a sure scoring chance it somehow always manages to miss the net... :/

Of course, this would all be a moot point if EA could finally implement drop-in play for online matches. That way If you lag out, you'd have a couple of minutes to get back into the game you dropped out of.

 

If anything I think this rule should be altered in the playoffs. A team should stop the game at the next whistle, and take a penalty at remaining time in period and continue from there instead of waiting until the next intermission to quit.

 

I feel the pain Banks, epspecially if it was a defenseman. I can't get around a fortune teller on defense, who can predict my move before I do it.

I know in othe leagues the rule is different. You continue the period out, but computer goals don't count.

 

Yeah I only played in another league for like 3 weeks but I think I remember it being like that

 

95% of the computer goals are complete BS. Picking up ridiculous rebounds, batting the puck out of mid air, etc., which is probably the most frustrating. If a computer scores on a nice pass from a player, it isn't nearly as annoying. However, most players won't even look at the computer as an option once the player lags out. I always felt computer goals shouldn't count, but it makes things too complicated and it isn't worth it.

 

play some more 2's, those shots are all save-able. The best solution would be if EA could figure out to allow people to join back into games like rocket league does, but that seems way to far fetched for EA to figure out.

I've never played 2's in my life and don't plan on starting now, join back would be the best thing considering you can do it in almost any game now
