I'm in the CHL now and I was wondering when can I join the AHL? My friend told me that there's a certain amount of games I need to play in the CHL, if that is the case how many games is it?
You can get drafted by a organization after the season, which would allow you to play up sooner then reaching the amateur status by games played. # of games to reach amateur status is in the rule book somewhere it always changes.
