Hey guys, for anyone who has this game what can you do online? We really need some team events like the old days
Different formats are: Stroke Simultaneous stroke play Match Play 3 hole mini game skins best ball four ball alternate shot one ball After that all the setting and options are the same
I only wish you could see the other player in simultaneous - not just their golf ball - but you can pound out 18 holes in like 30 minutes - 2 x 2 that way would be cool
Stroke Simultaneous is the way to go. so fast. is there a way to invite friends to ranked matches? and keep randoms out of your match? i made a "leaguegaming" lobby last night, friends only. BakedBaz and I were going to play and i was hoping OldTimeHockey would join us. so i set it to 4 players. so even though we were in a private lobby, two randoms joined our game. i also tried going to leaderboard and inviting people that way (ala NHL 08) but there is no option to do that. what are we missing by playing unranked? oh and for fun...One Ball is awesome and pretty quick too. unless you can hole it out, the idea is to leave the next person the worst shot possible.
I love one ball, but when I attempt to make a bad shot it usually get within a resonable distance to make the next putt
there is only 1 ball in play (surprise!) and each player takes turns hitting it. the player who sinks the ball at the end of the hole gets a point. so unless you know you can hole it out for sure, you want to leave the next guy the crapiest shot possible. you have to hit the ball at least halfway closer to the hole (indicated by a line). if you dont hit it at least halfway, you lose your next turn. it goes pretty fast and i think it's a lot of fun trying to hit sand traps and behind trees on purpose
