    NEW Article 5 - Scheduling Process & Responsibilities https://sites.google.com/site/hqlgfa/home/constitution/article5

THIS may be THE most viewed Article of all of them. Though it primarily covers 1 aspect of the league -> TIME as it applies to everyone. It is also the article that will change the most. It will include each season' s timeline, as well as adjustments to deadline requirements. Expect to see constant additions and changes (possibly some changes even during season, but we hope to minimize that).

The 1st thing many people interested in any league or players want to know is when? for how long? how often? When does the season start or end? How many weeks? What days?
Management: What are my time constraints? When are lines due? When must players submit availability? When are players allowed to play? Trade deadlines?

Article 5 purpose is to address as many of any TIME related questions as possible regardless if you are a non-member, a player, a GM/AGM or Owner, or Staff.

Season 3 has seen MANY issues by owners and managers NOT adhering to time concerns. These were most evident with line confirmation, late or non-stats submission issues. We almost saw an issue with the start of bidding being delayed...but our Commissioner (@nine10thsof1sec) and Assistant Commissioner (@I Smell A Taco) handled that very quickly and avoided it. While season 2 we saw NO forfeits, in Season 3 we have seen a few rescheduled games.

By establishing the boundaries of how time is handled and everyone's responsibilities to complying with the time-sensitive nature of various aspects of the league, the foundation is set regarding what is expected of you in each role. The idea of course is to avoid having to deal with time related infractions in Season 4 from everyone !! These were at the root of a fair amount of management issues this season.

Be sure to read up on it !! It's not a long read at all.

    Semi-Open LGFA Clubs:

Last 2 weeks I mentioned Semi-Open LGFA clubs. Here's the initial post about it: http://leaguegaming.com/forums/showt...pen-LGFA-Clubs.

I admit I was unable to deliver an initial communication with the management and player base for this project as I was primarily focused on some last minute changes needed to the release of Article 5. Since the season is winding down as we approach the playoffs, I hope to take the time to get feedback from both management and the player community as to what benefits they would like to see from establishing TC games of any kind be it "Semi-Open Clubs", "Community Shield" or anything else.

It's great for us to come up with ideas to increase participation, but what WE really need to know, is What would REALLY drive you guys to participate in these endeavors ?

Short review of Articles 1 and 2:

    NEW Article 1 - review: https://sites.google.com/site/hqlgfa...ution/article1

Want to know what Staff's "job" is? Considering Applying for BOG or put in a complaint against staff or help the league run smoother? Then you will need to know Article 1 along with the other 4 new articles inside and out. Read Article I: League Sructure here.

    NEW Article 2: https://sites.google.com/site/hqlgfa...ution/article2

This article essentially serves the same purpose as the previous Article 3: Judicial Process. However, it also allows room for changes mid-season where needed. This is NOT to allow staff the flexibility of making changes to suit their own needs, but rather the flexibility to make adjustments to maintain stability and fairness within the league. As seasons progress, and those holding staff/ownership positions extend the league is becoming more stable. This allows for more standardized rules, expectations, rulings and fewer changes. We expect to always be improving the league and this article dictates how those changes will come about and by whom.
