    Some of you guys are REALLLLLLY lucky....because you can't use the roster online...the 2 lucky ones that really stick out in my head are Babolat's Bucs and Big Reds Falcons...both of yalls teams took big hits

    No actually it doesnt suck...TRUST ME...only a few teams ratings went up...most of them went down...my d went from 80 to 68....bucs went from 97 to like 86 or something

    I'm glad the updates aren't used online, they shouldn't be making major ratings changes to players at this early in the season. Plus, it would cause problems with our rosters for the league and database issues (more work for Tristan).

    I'm learned early the stats or rankings they have in NHL are messed up, the leafs are 16th in OFF, and 9th in DE, in real life there at least 3rd in OFF (they will have the most goals scored this season) and at least 20th (well in my opinion) in DE

    I haven't checked yet, but for injuries like that they would just put the injured player last on the depth chart. You could just adjust that when you start the game and make him the starter again.

    Since we can't use them online though, there's nothing to worry about here.

    Too bad you can't play online with updated rosters. You have to play with updated rosters online with Madden. Oh well. It would seem more sim like to play with current rosters that mirror the NFL and that would seem the way to go since a lot of players say they are so big on this game being a sim.

    Being a "sim" player refers to the gameplay and the statistics that result from that gameplay, not the makeup of the depth chart (or the fact that likely one pencil neck who did the roster update at Sega decided that the Bucs aren't a studly team due to their first week of NFL action).

    The database and programming issues that a mid-season roster update would cause would be a nightmare for Tris10 to have to re-program.

    Thanks for the update! But that really sucks that the updates do not work online... they better work for Hockey, or I'll be REALLY pissed as well!

    I'd bet good money that they won't have online roster updates for ESPN NHL either.
