There's a league now
Tigers' upset losses give 4 others shot at title

We're halfway through the season and Hull City are still No. 1. They have the best record and the best goal differential with +18 goals.
Truth be told, most teams are about where we thought they'd be by this point. The Spurs are disappointing, which is very odd to see this season. The Gunners aren't quite as good, but are starting to peak now after making a bundle of trades. The Saints are talented, but messy, along with the Black Cats, who are all fighting over the top four spots along with the title contenders.
The surprising parts this season have come on the individual level and trading. We saw a historic performance on Tuesday night where Bournemouth achieved its first win. @Unlucky Evo has made the Saints stronger. @CreepyKlepto's crazy trades seemed dumb at the start, but in the end might have benefited the Gunners, because so far, he's proving me wrong.
But at the halfway mark, the teams we knew would be great are great, except for Spurs. That doesn't make for very exciting copy, but it has made for great FIFA games.

Sunderland
Prediction: Champion
Currently: 3rd, 20 PTS, 22 GF, 12 GA, +10 GD
Started Prediction: 3rd
Reasoning: The Black Cats are predicted to finish as champions, as they had the best week of the season, beating the Tigers and not losing a single game this week. If Sunderland keeps this route, they will end up on top. @DRLFT3R and @Huether 10 are the Black Cats' secret to success as they climb up the leaderboard.

Hull City
Prediction: 2nd

Started Prediction: 2nd
Reasoning: After a distraught week, losing two huge games which would have granted the Tigers the title only halfway through the season, Hull now has to bounce back in the following week. The absences of four key players @Roon l 44 l, @SOCCER SM 10, @K inG x NeymaR, and @l Steve McG l really damaged the Tigers, but there can be no excuses. The Tigers are still 1st in standings and have to regroup to finish champions. @l Murked l, the goal machine, was no where to be seen and EcF Rodriguez was frustrated that his strikers could not finish. The trifecta was also upset with the bad performance of @jesushaxyou in goal.

Reasoning: Southampton is the great surprise of the season, climbing up three spots from their original prediction. The Saints are marching in for sure, beating the Tigers in a close match and making great trades from Arsenal, adding the likes of @Unlucky Evo and @l Mann l. They have become a threat for the title. Rumors have it that Texas Tenant's massive ego is too hard to control, since he has been carrying the team and helping @Everest l 42 l and Mann score his goals.

Reasoning: Arsenal is in 4th and predicted to stay in 4th. @CreepyKlepto's crazy trades had many critics, including myself, but so far, they are tied in points for second, but the goals differential has them in 4th place. So far, respect to the Gunners' owner for having the trades to turn out to be good. @xTBx Natsu leads in goals for the gunners, @PANDA SwAGGGGG is nowhere to be seen with eight games played and only three goals and three assists. He's going to have to step up so the Gunners can finish near the top. @zMayhemIV, the octopus keeper, is keeping the Gunners alive in the race because his defense is non-existent.

Reasoning: If the Spurs, with two rough weeks, lose one more game, they are for sure out of the title race and will have to focus on the FA Cup. Dropping four spots from its started prediction, Tottenham will have to find a way to regroup. Spurs currently are in 6th place, and the only reason they are top 5 in ranking it is because of the quality of players they have. Maybe a three-back doesn't work for them? They should go back to a four-back so they can come back in the title race.

Biased media accused of bias
Report: Power Rankings, TOTW both rigged

A high-level investigation is taking aim at LGFA Extra Time, accusing the league's only media source of implicit bias.
Commissioner @Brisan66 released the 69-page report Saturday on the dark web, where it was picked up by WikiLeaks and spread across the internet.
"According to what we've found through our confidential source, who goes by the name 'Deep Throat,' LGFA Extra Time reporters @SOCCER SM 10 and @Aeppli l 3 l have been skewing Power Rankings and Team of the Week in their favor, and Editor nubsy004 is blind to the fuckery," Brisan said. "It's disappointing the media would stoop so low when handing out awards that don't even register on the LG site or on players' profiles."
In looking at the Power Rankings, from preseason going forward, Soccer has never ranked his Hull City squad lower than second place, and even though the Tigers were moved down this week, league officials say the reasoning was based in self-protection.
"Soccer still believes his team will wind up league champions, and the only reason they are predicted second this week is because Soccer knew we were closing in on him," said @Dunks, LGFA BOG. "It's all screwed up now, anyway. Southampton should be at the top, Sunderland should be in third, and Tottenham shouldn't be anywhere near the Top 5. My question to nubsy is, did he extremely vet his writers before giving them such ginormous media privileges? The answer is clearly, no."
Even worse, league officials say, is the completely obvious bias by TOTW writer, Aeppli.
"There is just one question I have to ask Aeppli — what in the sam hell is he doing?" said @phillyfan765, LGFA Deputy Commissioner. "Like, can he at least try to make it not so obvious? He's put himself, or at least tried to put himself, in every TOTW this season. This week alone, seven Southampton players are on TOTW. That's enough to legally play a game. Nothing about this media is fair or equal."
Even members of the media themselves are seeing the "snubs." In last week's LGFA Extra Time, Soccer, along with teammates @Poptart l 20 l, @Risxn and @l iSilver l lamented the leaving out of Ecf Rodriguez at the CAM position, an award the went to Southampton's @Texas Tenant.
"This is just unbelievable," @Risxn said in a later interview. "Rodriguez is the goat, and leaving him out of the TOTW created a severe distrust in this media. This is the most biased shit I've ever seen, and I read Breitbart every day."
In response to the accusations, @nubsy004 released the following statement.
"Stop calling our office to complain," he said. "The rankings and TOTW are determined using a complicated algorithm that takes two days and an a 300 ton atom splitter to complete. To anyone with further complaints, skrub."

Bournemouth winning three or less games: BUY!
In my many seasons here in the LGFA, never once have I seen a team going winless. Bournemouth did bag a win over Manchester city this week, however, I've never witnessed a team worse than Bournemouth. The overwhelming popular belief is that Bournemouth will struggle to win three games and may end up with the lowest point total in the table in LGFA history. Hey, at least y'all are making history though!

@Everest l 42 l PK ability: SELL IT AND NEVER BUY IT AGAIN!
After a great performance throughout the week, Everest l 42 l had found a chance to make him a hero in the Southampton locker room when given a PK opportunity in the closing minutes of the Arsenal-Southampton FA Cup game in which Gunners keeper @zMayhemIV stood on his head. Placing the ball on the spot, Everest adjusted his positioning, did his run up and tried to chip the keeper. NEVER AGAIN! Sell this option as soon as possible or deal with the endless regret!

Hull City's Depth: SELL IT QUICK!
After a week of disappointment, Hull City Owner @SOCCER SM 10 claimed the reason was, "We were trying to see our depth." Well Soccer, two words for ya — NO DEPTH. The Hull team that was full of confidence after the dominance in Week 1 have now showed weakness. BREAKING NEWS: Hull is human and has weaknesses. Exploit them and kill the beast.
