    turning pop-fly lock

hey guys, some people have mentioned this to me...

what do you think of turning pop-fly lock back to ON?

in 3 of my 6 games, a dropped pop fly caused a HR that obviously had an impact on the final game result... (thats a bit unrealistic)

or should we just wait till people get "better" at judging fly balls?

(i'm getting tired of seeing my Phillies outfielders judge fly balls like my girls softball team!)

    that adds to the excitement.

i think it'd get boring really quick getting to the red circle and just waiting...having automatic outs..

you can always go to the park and have your girls softball team hit you flyballs for practice ;)

Yeah I think we should keep them off too. It is way too much of an "automatic" out with them on. Keeping it off requires us to play a little more defense.

I personally can go either way on the subject. However, LG always goes for the most "sim" way of playing and to be perfectly honest, the real players wouldn't misjudge the fly balls like I have.

Again, either way is fine for me, but I do see some of the "sim" aspect being taken away without it. Just my thoughts.

I am not about to say no, as it helped me come back and defeat the Astros yesterday, as they were dropping every single routine fly-ball that came there way. While I was happy, flip-side was that Army of 1 wasn't that happy.

I would prefer them to stay where they are, but either way, doesn't bother me.

lol, competitive games like this are based on skill. I mean, if you can't catch fly balls, I'm sorry. You're gonna have to practice. It's pretty easy once you get it down... just put your guy slightly behind the circle and he'll grab it. It's unrealistic that players miss easy fly balls... but you can prevent this, by making the catch. lol.

Well, as bad a gamer as I am, it's not something I don't know how to do. It's just for me that the you can't back up with a player, you have to turn him around in the direction you want him to go then face back forward. If I could back pedal, it'd be a different story. I hate losing a game because I tap the player and it takes him out of the play, giving up runs on a routine fly ball. I didn't expect it to change but I still think it sucks. :)

I don't care either way but sometimes the catching animation causes them to miss the ball and have it bounce right by them which is pretty lame but ya leave them off I guess.

doesnt require much skill to run under the circle... lol... only problem with it off is the crappy animations that cause you to sometimes stab at the ball and miss it :)

exactly....youll get under a fly ball, and suddenly the guy will jerk in some random direction and you have a triple or worse...personally, i prefer it "on", but its alll good
