amyhow, see two possible problems with the espn online league

1. Dropped games
2. No divisions or ability to make a random schedule


number 2 isnt that big of a deal but number one is.

I believe theres a patch coming to address number 1 soon so I think we should wait till after that to start the season.

On a bit off topic note, I also heard they are going to boost the DB performance slightly on the next roster patch.

I have heard about the patch for the DBs as well. I also believe we should give ESPN some time to work the bugs out. As for the schedule, it's kinda of a bummer but I think we can deal.

I'll pose a question here about teams and I want you guys that were in the other leagues to chime in. Should those in the previous season get a right of first refusal on the team they used in season 3 or should we do an entire re-selection process?

 

the rndom schedule thing is coming. The guy on ESPN forums said so. Microsoft has just had 3 weeks now testing out the auto update that was suppose to be out the 16th and hasn't sent anything to the VC guys.

NOTE:
Isn't funny how since 2k3 VC has submuttid(SP?...Screw you im tired from working...even my toes hurt..im not finixing any spelling errors today.)...anyways VC submits files before the schedule date and Microsoft always ends up not doing the testing on time. Did what i said even made sense?

Whats up fellas glad to be here and cant wait to get this thing rolling. First off I think we should wait until all updates and patches or pushed out. As for as selecting teams go I'll play with anybody so it doesn't matter to me.

The leagues that I am in now use 6 min qtr. and I think thats fine. If you are down by 3 scores at halftime it gives you time to come back it also makes the guy thats up by 3 scores still have to use some kind of gameplan or strategy to keep that lead. Thats all I have for now.

 

Suggestion(s):
6 - 7minute games adds more time management and strategy.

any way we can be in both leagues? i'm not planning on it, but i might change my vote to be in the ESPN league

legend. The DB's are stupid but not that dumb plus the pursuit and kicking game on legend is best...Those bastards(VC) lied. they told me in an email that sliders for leagues would be possible.

Haven't played legend yet. Do the DBs play a lot better on the legend setting?

 

With teams I think what we should do is this:

- All Teams are up for grabs
- If you were in Season 3 you have first dibs on the team you had last season. If you didn't finish your season, you have no dibs.
- A separate team "wish list" thread will be posted. Each league participant is to list their top 3 choices. Teams will be assigned based on those choices. If there are two people who want the same team, the commish will decide who gets the team based on your history here at LG.


For Example:

Last season Accountblocked had :fne: If he wants :fne: for season 4 he gets them. If he no longer wants :fne: that team goes back in the pot and he posts his top 3 choices.

His three choices are:

1. :fkc:
2. :fno:
3. :fgb:

Accountblocked will get the :fkc: provided no other particpant wants them and has more seniority.

On legend the game is ok..better then allstar IMO. Not as good as having custom sliders but coverage and pursuit keep the game even for what it's worth.

 

what if two agree to trade?

Pyro and I had already agree'd to trade our teams.

 

Pyro didn't finish his season. So he wouldn't have rights to the Chiefs. If he did it wouldn't be a problem.

 

I took the chiefs over late and had a problem with striker who I believe dint play someone else as well.

Stang and I couldnt get on the same page ever.

I really dont care too much what team I get I just want in (if I dont get in madden). So Im just trying to clear my name and assure you all I'll get my games in.
