Ha! in Quebec these are some canadian town with funny names
Yeh those are great, my english teacher played for the Saskatoon Blades. And I have heard of quite a few of those, but it makes it an interesting country to live in, and it would be kewl to say you were from one of those places, it is just interesting how they chose to name their towns. My parents are driving down to see us Friday Afternoon and will leave Monday Morning. Doubt I'll be able to get any games in until then. As for tonight, we will be cleaning like mad fools. See you guys Monday.
I have Sept 10th setup as the last makeup day before the playoffs. Is there any way you can get some of your games played before then? And if not, will you make all of that Wednesday evening available for getting any unplayed game (currently 6) in?
ok well forget about i thought it was a week to make up games but if you want to start the playoffs just do it and i will take it
Actually, I want to start the playoffs ASAP and have zero makeup period (there has been ample time to play these games. 10+ weeks for 40 games). Starting the postseason next week will still put us into October before we are finished, we need to get the ball rolling here.
Ok I've found out for sure I'll be gone from Sept. 21 - Oct. 3. I'll be trying to get as many playoff games in as possible before I leave that way it hopfuly won't hold you guys up.
Shouldn't be an issue, as long as your 2nd round opponent is determined before you leave (assuming you win your first series, hehe). The 2nd round will start the day you leave (Sunday, 21st) so we'll need you to maybe hammer out your 2nd round series (assuming your opponent is done early) before you leave. Then, when you get back, it will be the end of the week for round 3, so you'll need to play that series on that Friday/Saturday right after you return. Might be alot of games in one sitting, but I think you'll be able to work it out (especially if you have some 4-0 sweeps or a 4-1 series in that 1st/2nd round). I made the 1st round extra long (10th-20th) to give people plenty of time, but that's a MAXIMUM time allowed for each series. We are REALLY hoping people will finish up quickly so we can get our playoffs completed earlier (and get the Season 4 started sooner). ie. If all of the 1st round series are done this first weekend (13th/14th), there won't be a reason to delay another week to start the 2nd round.
I am hoping I wont have to play you for two reasons. 1. You are freakin good and have killed me both times. 2. I dont want to play my series all in one sitting, but I will if necessary.
Hey, I am going on vacation Oct 31st until around Nov 10th! Hopefully though, I can get ahead of my schedule some more by then.
I just found out that I'm going to be gone fom Monday the 24th through Saturday the 29th. So I need to get my week 7 games done this weekend.
Tonight ENDS week 7, so you need to get those week 7 games in anyway, regardless of next week. Please don't abuse the 1 week grace period. Week 7 games need to be done by the end of week 7. I hate seeing this many unplayed games going into the final day of the week. :cry: Your week 8 games will be given extra time to be made up, since you are on vacation for that week.
hey jon, tris me and my wife were supposed to leave for Feb. 13 for a 3 week vacation (well earned one). i moved it to Feb. 29- Mar.20 because i would like to finish my NHL games as much as possible and without delaying the regular season. if i dont make it in the playoff no sweat. but in case i make it, could my opponents wait for me ? ( plssssssss........ :cry: ) i could not move it to mid march because the air fare RATE will be almost doubled.
OK, here is the deal, from the 14-18 I will be studying for finals and will prolly not be playing any games at all. From Dec 23-Jan 1 I will be out of town so I will not be able to play any games at all.
