If you've visited the site in the last couple of days you've surely noticed the continuous server issues we've experienced. In a nut Shell, leaguegaming is a gold fish that has grown to big for its bowl and we now need to upgrade our servers to meet the demand and increased services. To host a site is very costly, There is forum software to purchase, DNS, domain registration and the very costly service of the hosting company to bring everything together. Over the last 4+ years the costs of supporting leaguegaming was paid mostly out of my own pocket but for what we need today, this cost I can no longer support by myself. So today we ask for our loyal members to help us. We believe our leagues should be free and we do not wish to charge members league fee's as that might take away from the spirit of the leagues we provide. Instead we are going to offer a gold and premium membership services as rewards for those who donate to Leaguegaming. As you know avatar sizes cost us bandwidth, as does pm box's and file uploads. So for those who support LG with a donation, we are going to give them extra space for a year. We are going to upgrade our servers to a private set of computers away from shared hosting which we are on now. Shared hosting means someone else's server can bring you down which is what we are seeing. The cost jump from shared to private is extreme. I didn't see anywhere that allows for CC or debit. When I went to PayPal it said that they sent to small deposits to my account...No they didn't :roll: So I've requested them to do it again but I have to wait 2-3 business days. My donation will be forthcoming. Probably next Wednesday, or sooner if I can use my CC.

hey Tris, here's a question...if I just paid for gold, but later decide to upgrade to Premium..can I do that too?
When i got transferred it asked me for my name credit card # and such.. And to the left was a box for "Already a paypal member" so I inputted my username and password and used paypal..
I've enjoyed this site since '03 and glad to help. I guess it takes 3-5 days for funds to transfer. You can count me in and matching Pete's donation.
