Season 1 Closed !

What I meant was that a lot of the "proven" members, along with some newer all showed different sides with Halo 2. There was a lot more complaining and all that stuff. For whatever reason Halo 2 brought out the worst in every1, even the "proven" members.

 

its easy to play monday morning quarterback. let he who hath not sinned cast the first stone. focus on ideas for a successful 2nd season.

 

I hate to be a jerk on this, but as many others...I could see this coming from the start. It just seemed a little rushed, and well...too many new people.

We do, or at least I do, appreciate the offer Tris.

 

This league didn't fail because of too many new people.

 

It isn't the big valboski, but it did push towards it. If you notice, a lot of the minor problems were among the newbies.

 

What problems? I hear all this junk about people not showing up, blah blah blah, but there are far more serious things that happened in my mind which caused this league to crash and burn. Me thinks a lot of you are being sheltered from some information here and there.

 

I got quite a bit of information myself from various people.

But I mean most of the no-shows...new people..most of the missed sign-ups...new people... a lot of the minor arguments on forums... new people. I know that wasn't the direct cause, but it is true what i am saying.

 

Believe what you want I guess.

 

So even though I signed up every week and was on everytime well before my matches started, because I'm new I can't play in the next season.

I wouldn't pay too much attention to what some people say . The Captains/Admins know who were reliable and who weren't.

 

absolutely, We need more that win or lose honor the commitment they made when they signed up for the league.

Anyway, I do think that there needs to be some kind of proving ground. There were several matches played which is indicative of the commitment level going forward.

However, I think there needs to be something like the orange team that we had over at XRT (PRT?). Perhaps the orange team could be included in the all team matches and special matches could be held against the orange team. Maybe the orange team could make challenges and such.

The captains or co-captains could play with them from time to time and always be privy to the posts and such.

Just a thought.
