I regret to inform you all that a member here passed away this week. Bryan, known as cabat31b, passed away after a long battle with CF. He needed a lung transplant that never came. Bryan and I shared a season together in the Team League, and we had great fun. His enthusiasm for the game was obvious, and he was always first to step up or volunteer at a moments notice. He will be missed. My sympathies go out to his brother Kevin, aka cabat77k. Trevor
I had played with him in Worcester during season 2, he was a great guy and his sportsmanship was something I admired about him. RIP cabby. My condolences to his family.
Terrible news This can't help but put your priorities in order. I never had the pleasure to know Bryan but wish his family my condolences. Rest in peace
I had the privilege of trading for him and his friend Plodee in Season 3. He was one of those guys who just had that upbeat outlook at things, really inquisitive and straightforward, I had no idea he was in a fight like this because it never really showed in his demeanor toward life. That says a lost about the strength of will a person, and the character a person has. My condolences go out to his friends and family. Cabat, you will be missed.
This Reminds us that some things are not life and death... Some things are just not as important as we think they are. And that life here on this earth is just a grain of sand compared to eternity. My Prayers are with his family... I always wish that when "real life" happens.. That we could see that the things we fight about are really my-nute, when we just be happy to play games with good friends.
It is always tough to hear about things like this whether you know a person or not. Cabat is on my buddy list and we played on NHL together sometimes but not very much. Though I did not know him personally I know he was a great guy. My condolences to the family and friends. Rest in peace buddy.
Being a close friend of his in real life, this has been one of the worst experiences of my life. He lived a mere 4 blocks down from me, we constantly played floor hockey (like 21 videos on youtube) he was a phenomenal goaltender in real life, although I only knew him for about 2 years, it felt like a eternity...we talked on msn basically everyday, and I know for a fact he changed my life and alot of my friends lives as well. He was a amazing person, not a single person I know who had bad things to say about him....and for the short time he was around, he lived his life to the fullest. Boy I'm gonna miss him alot. RIP My Good Buddy
Thoughts and prayers go to all friends and family. What a tragic loss... I also had the chance to play between plodee and cabat and they played great together, and you could tell they were close friends. I'm sure he's up in heaven trying to log into Xbox live. RIP buddy.
i never had the pleasure to get to him or play him, but an LG brother is gone and thats sad.... Rest In Peace.
What a tragedy. I had the pleasure of having cabat as a teammate last season. He was a great player, and was always willing to play. My deepest condolences go out to his family and friends, especially Plodee and cabat77k. I'm sure this is very, very tough for the both of you. RIP Bryan, you will be missed.
WOW! I really didnt get a chance to know him but i do remeber playing against him last season. My condolences go out to his friends & family. RIP Cabat
