S20 AHL Management Peer Ratings

In light of the season-ending, I have decided to continue what I started last season and create a poll for all the managers in the AHL to vote. Each manager voted on a 1-5 scale on how they believe each team's management performed this season.

1 being poor, and 5 being excellent.

Each manager both GM and AGMs were given the opportunity to vote for each team.
Managers were also allowed to vote for themselves.

Below is a compilation of the results!

There were 22 managers who voted in total.

The criteria given when voting is stated as:
- Teams individual record.
- Overall Depth.
- Managers abilities to manage assets .
- Managers abilities to not get burnt when it comes to trades.
- Managers abilities to bid on good players, to build their rosters without overpaying.
- Managers abilities to build strong teams WITHOUT the help of NHL Owners assistance via Amateur Send Downs, High DP players.
- Managers overall responsiveness come game nights.
- Ability to make sure they do not forfeit games within the regular season.
- Overall competitiveness of the team, all season long.

Ya I’m not sure I agree with this dolph. I’d say two managers from the chl bringing their team to second in the whole league deserves better than a B. Put some respect on those boys. That’s all I got. Haha.

 

I don't disagree. These grades aren't solely from me. It's a peer vote. Every manager had the chance to vote for themselves and the rest of the league.

The discrepancy comes from having to vote with whole numbers. Should be able to give someone a 4.5 or 3.3 to better show the gap between teams. That'd be a tad more work for Dolph though.

I agree gonzo and I’m not heated at all. Even if I wasn’t on the team and if we get beat out next round I’d still say automatic A from being in the C to making the playoffs and winning 1 round. All great management mentioned above as well and best of luck to everyone tonight. Need griffs americans stream.

I’m pretty sure I graded Barracuda a 5

 

Same, they just had a few people give them 2s and 1s which drop the average a bit

 

Really odd that they got a 1 or 2 when they were a top notch team
