Because rookie of the year doesn't matter the record of your team. So even if you are 2-80, stats are stats.

 

So somebody can get mvp as a rookie but not rookie of the year lol if stats are stats why did he rookie of year Idrc I'm just wandering

 

Well he had more all around stats.

 

Meaning if I had a winning teame id be MVP

 

I mean you still got 2nd team so i doubt it

 

If a rookie wins the MVP they would/should also get rookie of the year no question about it, Some of the award selections were pretty iffy from last season

rookie of the year is based solely off stats. mvp has the team weigh over who gets it. my team was dead last with the worst record probably in the history of team up leagues in general lol. but the point is that it isnt fishy.

 

they gave you first team cause your mvp. if you werent first team as mvp then thatd be stupid. i dont think the nba has ever had an mvp not be all nba 1st team.
