Rammer Goals - NHL 17 Beta

Every year you hear goalies mention how they got "Rammered." Well I figured, why not start a thread where goalies can share their worst "Rammer Goals."

I'll start it off with two that just happened to me, in the same game:

 

I mean at least the puck didn't carry magical momentum to go into the net. The first one is unfortunate but realistic the second goal should never happen as that should always be a cover not a stick sweep.

Turn off Auto Sweeps in the options and it should limit the amount of crap you endure in relation to that.

 

I know but I actually like the sweep. I usually play with the auto cover off and sweep on. It usually helps when the puck is sitting right in front of your pads because the auto cover on makes your goalie go for the cover and in the past, skaters would be able to poke it in for a goal if they timed it right. Cover seems different this year and that hasn't happened yet. I have been playing with both on this beta. In my post for the review with Brodie, I suggested they add manual sweeps to RB. That button is not used in either control mapping.

 

Ive had a goal where my goalie tried to cover the puck and he missed and pushed the puck in the net.

 

Proof or it didn't happen

 

I have a couple people who can say theyve seen it lol. But i dont record anything
