If you play LW, do you think it’s would just as easy to play RW or vice versa? Do you think there is challenges playing opposite to what you are used to or is it a simple transition? Curious to see people’s comments on the matter. My reasoning is that, I believe, if you can play LW then it should be a simple transition to play RW. Similar situation on Defense.
Playing opposite wing and keeping the same handedness just makes you a detriment to your team since you take away the threat of a one-timer. Playing opposite wing and switching handedness means you're a sociopath. One of those ambidextrous weirdos. There is no in between.
Still makes it a lot easier on the goalie when you don't have to constantly worry about a one-timer being open.
I disagree this game the easiest ways to score are forces rebounds and tips and a Lefty LW righty RW makes it easier for rebound goals and forehand forces
if you learn to feed a right handed rw or left handed lw youre golden. the "standard" handedness thing needs to go. If I go RD i dont change my handedness because it also has advantages. So in the scenario that your team can feed you then it isnt an issue. If they freak out because you are "oFfHaNdEd" then it could be an issue
