Prospect League STARTED (and Slider Feedback)

anyone up for a prospect game right now?

 

HOF? I'll probably score fewer goals all season than Tris scores in any given game. Lord help me and the noobs. As they say, I'm about to be pwned!

After playing a couple games I really like how the speed and passing are set....the goalies seem a little too good in my opinion. I just got done playing choke and the shots were 55-49 in a 2-1 game...not exactly realistic but still, a huge improvement from last years game

 

* auto wrap around is on? that should be turned off IMO if a wrap around is gonna be attempted the human player should have to do it themselves.

* ICC IMO off (but i could live with it on, if penalties are called)

* Fat Effect should be 100% Recovery 10% Fat Time 100% that way you get all lines rotated if people use auto line change..

* 8 min periods? i loved the fact that LG used 6 min periods!! could live with 7 but 8 seems to long...

*Hitting power needs to be at ZERO, to much hitting with 20%, its like playing nhl hitz..(out of the games i have played here at LG this is prob the biggest gripe i have)

Rebounds at 70%.. why?


those are my thoughts based on all the games i have played so far online...

 

goalies will be the biggest problem we have this year as far as sliders go... Tris has some work cut out for him in that department lol

 

I agree with fiddy in that the hitting should be turned down....its almost impossible to pull off any good moves without getting hit and automatically losing the puck

 

well the problem is some people just like to hit alot.. they are not penalized for attempting a huge hit. they just click on a skater and hit B and the switch and hit B etc. thats a joke, esp when they are not penalized for it. they could just miss a huge hit, but still get rewarded b/c the guy gets knocked off the puck b/c of how high the hitting slider is.. at 0% you still see that now and then but not as much!!

 

i also think 8 minute periods are a little too much. 6 was good maybe 7

 

I have played 2 very tight games... (Post and Choke) and both went quite well. (well, ok better than expected) The hitting is high, (even though it helps CBJ a bit) It might be better for the league if it were lower.. maybe not all the way down, but maybe 10 instead of 20.

The goalie settings are good, they are not making bonehead mistakes this year, and it requires you to move the puck a bit more rather than just rushing the net.

 

6 gets my vote, 7 at the most... use manual line changes and get that 4th line out once a period when playing 6 mins!!

yea hitting and maybe 1-2 notch down for goalie from this setting u have tris? but BIG IMPROVEMENT from 2k6.

 

I actually like the 8 minute periods myself but if everyone feels it needs to be shorter then make it 7 minute periods.
