Get in touch with @BadPlayBJ he wanted to help with pro series.

Also 10 man rosters, or the option to have 8-10 guys as long as you buy them in.

 

Final roster size is up in the air. I know Xbox talked about it going to 8, but I think it finalized at 10. My only point to making it an 8 man team was to get more players actually playing. If you took two people off each team, you could have made a few more full teams. We need participation, but it doesn't matter which way we go for that. I'm all for 10, but all guys need to play.

Also... if you DO NOT have a team, but WANT TO PLAY, use the Season 2 free agent forum to pull a group of guys together. We had enough FA sign up to make another 10 teams. Some of the guys who did weren't bad players either. It'd be nice to see 20-30 teams in Season 2 of Pro Series. That makes the pot worth it.

30 teams at $150 is a $4500 pot. Not a bad return for $15 buy in . Just for the record, the pot is split at the end of the tourney. League (Tris) takes a percentage of the total buy in for hosting the tournament, and paying out the winnings. The amount after his take is then broken down to a split between the winning team, and 2nd place team. 3rd place gets their money back.

 

If yall need help setting this up let me know I'm interested in having this on the psn side of things.

Biggest thing right now is getting enough teams together to start this as soon as possible after release. Trying to get everything ready so when the time comes, we just move right into PS with no issues.

 

Based on feedback, roster is going to be 10 people. Price is still up in the air, but $13/15 per person/$130/150 for the team is looking like the cost. Number of teams will dictate the final price. Under 20 teams is $15, anything over 20 teams will be $13.

The more quality guys we can get in on this, the better it will be for the people involved

When is the deadline to have rosters finalized?

 

If we start the league on September 26th as planned, we will need to have the rosters and payment submitted by the Monday before (September 19th).

 

My team is interested, but we haven't discussed in a couple of weeks, so be ready to add one more.

Here is where we stand as far as I know. I need to get in touch with the QC guys to see about getting them involved. Plan on doing that over the next week or so. Any other teams we missed here that are putting in a team (I seen a few others, but can't find a post for them)?? I don't see a team from The first line, and @ChyzNasty was looking to make a team initially and had trouble fielding guys. There were plenty of names that were available to make a decent team in the Free Agents thread I made that can compile a competitive team.

 

NaC others will most likely have a team.

 

Please place rosters in the appropriate thread, so people know who you will have on your roster.

Update with club owners of teams for Pro Series Season 2. We hit the 20 mark just now. Would like to get an additional 5 if possible before tournament. Things are looking real promising in terms of competition. If you don't have a team yet, pull one together through the FA thread, or get your club buddies in. All information will continue to be updated through the teams registration in the Season 2 thread in the Pro Series sub forum. Thanks!

We are just a few weeks away from deadline to submit team rosters. Buy ins are going to open up September 1st, with a deadline of September 19th. When the official thread is made, I will need everyone to register/pay as soon as possible to give me enough time to manually create the schedule, input rosters, and set up the league.
