Let me say first that at the start of this season, I wanted to make sure we had cars that everybody could get their hands on. So we started with the Celica and the Audi TT.. but after the first couple of weeks some were asking if we would ever get to the higher end cars.. So the last couple of weeks I we went more expensive with the Fairlady Z , Skyline and Mustang. Trying to get up to the Ferrari's, Lambs, and such.. But i think everybody is feeling the pinch and I wondered if We need to stay with the cars that are more affordable? SHould we continue on to the higher end cars, Stay with the cheaper cars, stay with the same cars from week to week, or should we stay just stay under the 100K range.. It's tough having to work around the money issue.. My main disagreement with using the cars from week to week is that most would do a quick tune and there would be no real team aspect. I dont mind staying cheap.. But i dont want to alienate the guys that want to drive the Corvette's, Ferrari's, and such. Please let me know ...
Personally I think we should stick with lower end car/class. I feel I can somewhat compete with guys like neo and tris in say c or b class. I say lower end cars...
It's so unfair that the best car is locked to level 48. (S7) If you're going for an easy access car that isn't a quick tune, any kind of sedan raised out of its stock class works well, they all drive like bricks until you fix them. (So much so that they are worse than even my usual brick-like suspensions...)
Not really going after a hard tune. Just triying to make it affordable but at the same time get the best kind of cars.. challenging and fun.
I had to sell every car I own to upgrade the POS Mustang. And that was after Brokenpost sent me the car, because I didn't have it unlocked. The races are are fun when everybody is competitive. I'm not looking forward to tommorow at all, I'm just gonna show up get my 2 points and hope I don't take anybody out in the process.
I liked the progression you used with the cars this season so I'd like to see that happen again. Start off with the cheaper cars and eventually get to the more expensive ones but the last few weeks.
Well we're going to have to figure out some how to finance this.. Not everybody will try to complete the game.. Also Willo next season will be longer.. So we should get a good Bit of generous cars working our way up to the fast ones again...
Everybody knows about letting the AI run endurance races (the Porsche one on Nurburgring pays best for time used) with the AI set to easy and a cheap driver (I prefer F. Martin because he's aggressive) in order to finish the game and make easy mouny, right? The XBox only draws 165W, that's less than a PC! Less than two light bulbs! (I use 100 and 150W three-way bulbs. Can you tell I researched my power usage when I got my $140 electricity bill this month? ) Shouldn't be too hard to get everyone the cash they need, it only takes $300k to build up almost any car in the game, and we can check around to make sure one person on each team is high enough level and in the region to post a bunch of cheap buyout ones on the auction hall for their team (or heck, the whole league. Mark em up a tad and turn a profit!)
Im sure it's not the electrical bill everyone is worried about...it's about their xbox dieing... lol.
I suggest using cars that are unlocked from the near the beginning of the game. For example, there have been 2 cars this short season that I have not had unlocked. The Mustang for this week is not attainable for me since I am in the Europe League - not the North American region. Thus, I had to purchase it in the Auction house for almost a hundred grand...!!!!!! I cant do that every week...too much money.
I got two stangs of the AH for under 30K you have to be good at knowing when to buy, and when not to besides, talk between all of your teammates, you should have all 3 regions covered. This week I gave Jrocc a car to race with, this and the endurance races with AI should give you all you need. a single race as desirar said will net you enough to build up your car
These are all good arguments. I agree it is somewhat easy to make money in the game and if your too busy a teammate should help you out. I would just hate the idea of us not having a Ferrari F355 or a Porsche 911 race. We could at least save it for one race at the end. . .say week 6 (hint, hint cough, cough)
I bought mine after Forza 2 came out, they stopped carrying ones without proper heatsinks. My console barely gets hot under load. (The power supply, on the other hand...)
Im willing to help team yellow and anybody else that needs the cars.. I'll do my best to supply cars for everybody if that's what it takes..
Im honestly not too picky. But I wouldnt want to get to cars that are costing people 2-4 hundred thousand. I would like to stick with the idea of changing cars every week, and the progression in PI is also a thing I like.
*goes to make $700kCR in the auction hall before heading over to the Counter Strike server* Just in case we get that $400k car next week.
I think that all cars should be available for racing. If you dont have the car yet youll just have to work harder for it. And as far as my team is concerned If I can get a car that my teamate cant then I will just buy it and gift it to em. Thats what teams are for correct? Scotty
