Playoff Spots

Looks like the playoff picture is coming into focus a little more.

In the NFC East we have the NY Giants one win or another Redskin loss away from clinching the division

And in the AFC North we have the Ravens one win or a Steelers loss away from clinching the division

Should be a little clearer in the next few days.

 

OK slight change in the NFC East. I forgot to take into account the Cowboys make up games. So we still have the Redskins one loss away from missing out on winning the division. But the Giants need the cowboys to lose 3 games to clinch the division.

 

I know I saw cocoman playing ESPN NFL last night. Is he having trouble getting the scores in or something? What were the results (anyone who played him)?

 

he won both the game he played last night.
Beating Washington and Miami.

he said he kept getting errors when trying to put in the Washington score and I just sent him the link to unlock the Miami score today. so should see the scored up soon.

 

With only 4 losses, he can get a 1st round bye if he can get 6 more wins with those Cowboys.

A fifth loss would tie him with the Bucs though, who he lost to earlier in the season and would lose that tie breaker (assuming Joe would finish with 5 losses, but he has 2 tough games let too).

Lots of races still up in the air. I love it.

 

yeah this is when things get very interesting for some teams and for others like myself frees up some time to hit the golf course.

 

I'm having FUN! I'm now just starting to use my team effectivly and learning what makes them boys tick. I'm shooting for a division win and then we see how far I can take it to the next level. Could a Rams vs Cowboys showdown happen? Maybe...

 

could of had ya if my receivers would of caught the ball instead of letting bounce off their heads...
arggggggggg what I would give for some receivers that could catch.

 

Yeah...my concern was Ricky, I think I handle him very well. If it wasn't for that late\last long rushing TD in the game, he would of had 20-30 yards. Your receivers cold not catch a cold. I have had that happen too in some other games (Tampon Gay comes to mind)...very frustrating.

yeah it was driving me nuts having a receiver behind you defenders wide open and the ball bounces right off him. ( happened on like 4 or 5 plays) and then I couldnt get any blocking up front to spring Ricky. was definatly a well played game for both of our defenses.

 

Very impressive man.

 

As of now I am 6-8. Having lost 8 in a row I thought I couldn't make the playoffs. But if I win my last 2 games and finish 8-8 that might be good enough to win my division. So hopefully all goes well for me. And hopefully Jon beats Indigo

 

Oh sure, no you change your tune and root for me. In the other thread you were wanting me to not go undefeated.

As of now I am not going to try and determine what each team needs in particular for the NFC as it is currently looking as if there could be a lot of 8-8 and 7-9 records lining up and will be much easier to determine once a few more games are played out to finish up some season.

Man this is very exciting to see so many teams right on the verge of making the playoffs all fighting for that one last spot.

I feel like Dangerfield...no respect at all! Have we forgot about my BOYS! I'm going to win the division, it's my goal, it's in the stars and Walter said so! Well if I don't win I have a good chance at a wildcard. How bout them Cowboys!

 

yeah was going to say dont forget the cowboys he still has a few games to make up but he is definatly not out of the picture yet.

 

sorry about that cocoman, when I looked I just overlooked you since you had so many games unplayed. I go back over the NFC in a little bit as this can make a huge difference in the outcome of the NFC playoffs.
