    NHL Scoreboard Addit

There are many new feature's we are adding to the NHL scoreboard now that we have developed this new technology, The latest addition is a full league wide player power ranking.

Each of the 3 main positions (Goalie, Forward & Defencemen) have a different formula that is used. We look at all the stats for each player including TOI, +/-, goals , assists, PP and SH stats as well as SOG and hits, then add the formula to get a Power ranking.

Different positions have different expectations, For example a forward is expected to produce on the score sheet, Where a defencemen is expected to keep the other team off the score sheet and goalies are expected to keep your team close.

We record power rankings into 3 stats:
-Last 5 Average (looks at a players last 5 games or less)
-Season Avg (Average score the player gets for each game)
-Season total (Total power ranking points for the entire season)

We also assign a rank to a player based on the following 7 categories
    On Fire
    Hot
    Above Average
    Average
    Below Average
    Slump
    Ice Cold

This should really help a manager help scout another team

A special thanks to "We Want The Cup", for tweaking, and tweaking again away at the formula's to get just the right math.

Another new addition to the Scoreboard,

In a game recap, i added shots by period for each player as well as the total under "box score".

Also added a Game "Break Down". Which grabs all the shot, goal and pen data by team and displays it in graph form.

2 new useful tools to help you scout better.

    Enjoy
