Especially on the interference non-call on Brunette that led to the 1st Ducks goal. Any word on whether Brunette is ok to play the next game?

Was a clean hit, and he should have had control of the puck... therefore, no call.

Well it may have been a clean hit but he hadn't touched the puck yet so therefore it should have been a penalty.

    Sucked, mightily...

Also, Brunette had the puck briefly, but lost it. No call should have been made.

Yeah, really bad game, they just weren't the Devils out there today.

They'll bounce back though, not worried at all & it could turn out to be the best thing that happened to them

Every team is bound to have a game that doesnt go their way at all. This was the Devils game.

I'm sure they'll give it a good run. But I am going for the Canes.

Well, the Beauchemin hit on Brunette, brought back memories of the Stevens-Kariya hit, and I'm not going to lie, that was one of the best hits I've ever seen, even though our captain got laid out.

As for Brunette, the elbow was raised a little, but it was a shot by the shoulder, and he had briefly had possession of the puck.

Good game for the Ducks though, despite some non-calls that could've had them down. But ey, no complaints from me.

Hopefully they can go 2 up tonight, but against the Avs, I'm not counting on it being easy.

3-0 Ana with 2 mins left. Bryzgalov (sp?) hasn't allowed a goal in quite some time now.

Bryzgalov hasn't allowed a goal since 10:18 of the first period in game 6 of the first round against Calgary when Stephen Yelle put one behind him.

The team is playing great to help him out as well, with the defenders helping out and the forwards helping out in defense as well, along with putting in some goals, 8 goals in two games isn't bad.

Nearly 230 minutes consecutive now, passed up Giguere from the '03 run. If he can get a shutout for the first two periods of game 3, he will be pretty close to holding the longest ever in the post season which wouldn't be bad.

Hopefully it's the same case as our last Cup run, with the goalie leading us there, but they'd better not come up short this time.

So who does everybody think will win the Oilers-Sharks series? I am hoping for the Sharks to have a freeway type series. Either way I won't care awhole lot, as both teams are going to be dead tired after playing three games in four nights, including that triple overtime game.

pretty easy to do when you play a team that decides to just quit playing!

this was by far, the worst I've ever seen the Devils play in the playoffs, right off the bat from game 1 they just stunk up the joint, game 2 they let the Canes walk in a goal with 3 secs left, after that, they had one game where they all showed up, and that was mostly due to the fact the Canes kinda got a little ahead of themselves and stopped playing hard hockey.

The biggest problem with all this, is that the Devils are handcuffed next year with Mogilny's, Malakhov's, & McGillis's salaries towards the cap
