I think this build is probably the best balanced (outside of hitting & durability) based off of the chelculator that @WateryDolphin77 posted.

Hi folks, I'm the developer/designer of the NHL19 Player Calculator / Chelculator. I've noticed some high traffic coming from here so thought I'd check it out. I'm still in the development phases (obviously) and still collecting data from NHL19 during my spare evenings.

This is a better version of a TWD with marginally less strength and hitting. If I do need to be more physical I'll swap slapper for brute strength or heavy hitter. But I rarely play any other defensive class.

*people question hockey IQ. this isn't about positioning. your player's automatic animations are much quicker and smarter over a number of skills. grabbing loose pucks, deflections, pass receiving, one-timers, pass interceptions, shot blocks, etc

small but quick and feisty with a great shot. if i'm playing against a small team i'd probably swap balance for tight turns, quick wrister, or quick first step. against larger teams i might swap drive the net for rubber man. i like this because it has good base shooting so i can focus on adding puck handling or physicality.

Big as in bigger players and more physical?
