if they can make the game half as good as they are letting on it will be , we are all in for a treat... I wish they would release details on sliders and online league support though, these screen shots are nice and all but lets get to the nuts and bolts!!

Sounds like it could be a little too sim, where offence is nearly impossible. Sounds like the developers watched too much of the World Cup.
Is it just me or is there something wrong with Ovechkin's skin complexion? LOL Ovechkin look's like he's blitzed out of his skull in that close up on him near the start.

my biggest concern with EA NHL is the speed. even at the lowest speed, still seems so fast. thats why it would be hard to make a SIM game. yea, if both IMPROVED their gameplay, AI etc, it would be exciting to have both games :wink:
hands down these gameplay vids are 10x better than what the series has put out the past 5 years.. skating seems a bit fast but thats b/c they are playing on the default settings!! looking good so far IMO...
SEPTEMBER 12 SHIP DATE FTW!!! I really can't wait for this years batch of games to come out. The improvements to dynasty mode sound great, and that's what I play most offline.
Right analog stick to shoot ......... sounds interesting. no more button smashings (except for calling plays)......... nice to see how it works. i guess EA got the idea in one of the 2K's side games (like strongest/fastest slap shots competition etc). this game looks promising.
