Anyone try this game out? It's actually quite fun, for an arcade/over the top type of sports game. 7 players per side, huge hits and what not, but the animations and graphics are awesome. Good change of pace for some mindless fun with buddies. The playbooks aren't too big and plays are pretty simple, kinda reminds me of a next-gen version of Tecmo Bowl. Give it a rent.
Yeah it is pretty fun, create a 7 man team of all your buddies and go to town making a franchise street team
I agree, and I'm the last guy that would even be tempted to play one of the "blitz", "street", "jams" type of games, but it is actually pretty fun to play. I can't put it down. Too bad it's not on XBL. Damn EA.
Yea, I hate them types of games....I did like nba jam for sega though....I have some friends that work at the local dollar video....I will have them hook me up with this game.
I just rented it and its really addicting. I didn't think an nfl blitz type game would suck me in this much but it did. It's pretty cool how they set up the challenge mode game. With the challenges to get points to make your team better, get gear, and new plays. Then the ladder matches. I'm not too sure I'd buy this game though. The game could easily be beaten in a matter of 2 days.
Exactly. That's why I posted. I'm the last guy around here that would like a game like this, but there's just something about it that makes it addictive and fun to play for a quick 15 min game. I downloaded the AR file for it that has everything unlocked, it's pretty cool playing with Payton, B.Sanders, Stabler, Fridge, etc
Not sure if everyone knows this but you can also play with these guys in an unranked game on espn football. My 91 Lions Destroyed Skater's 94 Cowboys. Correction, Barry destroyed him and my Defense shut him down. Damn i wish i had three lb's in the high 90's...
Yeah, I knew about the classic teams in ESPN Football, but they just show the player's numbers right? Not their actual names and photos.
Correct. It's not that bad though, i mean for certain players it has names but for most it just has #'s.
They are updated, but that's not saying much considering there's only a handful of players from each team (key starters, studs, etc) ie. the Rams whole roster is something like: Warner Faulk Holt Bruce Pace Turley Little Wistrom Archaletta Williams
alright sweet, I may pick it up then, I was very into NBA Street 2, only reason I sold it, is because I beat it, and I got it for PS2, so I could play my friends more. I can't wait til NBA Street 3 comes out, and it is on LIVE.
