I heard that we could be seeing an update with Downloadable Content like new tracks and cars. I just wondered if track sets cost 800 ms points. Would you buy, no questions asked for league play..? This is one of those fact finding missions to find out where we would stand on this. I love this game and definitely psyched about the league.. But I could sure use some more tracks as long as they werent like The test tracks.heheh
There is a chance that they might work like some other DLC in the past where as long as the host has "purchased" the content that everyone in the room can use it. Typically there would be one free download that contains all (both free and premiun) content but you can only use the premium content if you pay. This way would be the best scenario for the league as not everyone would have to pay for the dlc, just the host would need to. I have no idea if this is the direction they are going however... just wishfull thinking.
I paid ~60 bucks for this game for the content it has. I have already gotten my moneys worth, just with league. I would not have an issue investing more into a game that I already love playing.
I'd buy them. But, it really depends on what tracks. I hate most of the fantasy stuff, the test tracks are lame. I hope they come up with something better if they want to release fantasy stuff due to licensing. Mapple Valey is a nice fantasy track, unlike any test one. I bet you the tracks & cars are already in the game, they just need to sell us the unlock key.
Yeah, depends on the track. I'd LOVE Alpine Ring, as well as Mid-Ohio and Surfer's Paradise. I don't think I'd pay for anything like new test track courses or Tokyo-like tracks (from the GT series) or anything like that though.
agreed i wont pay for test tracks. Real world tracks i will though. If they also could bring back uphill or downhill tracks i would buy those.
Chances are tht I would, but how much money is 800MS points? Seeing I am still fairly new to the online aspect of Xbox Live.
