Will their be a league for NBA? Like NBA 2k4...or I guess it would be ESPN Bball. J/w because I know we have other sports. Also will their be an NFL league?
There will be any sports league, besides racing (that is PRT's department), as long as there is enough interest with enough people.
If anyone here thinks they want to start a league, or maybe head one up, please ask or show us that you have a real interest. We are not limited to hockey here. I'm heading tennis, Woob is doing snowboarding, and Tris i believe is doing golf. So if you think we want to start one, just show us that you have interest and others have interests in the sport as well.
I've been getting into basketball over the last year. I'd be up for a basketball league for the new 2k4 game. I'd be sweet if NBA Live (EA Sports) came out on xbox live, I like the free throwing in NBA Live better then NBA2k3.
ive played both and 2k3 is 10x better game...except for the whole ray allen and paul peirce never missing threes lol i checked this site and out of every one here only me and mixmastermike have nba2k3
I had NBA2k3 the day it came out, but after playing it alot online, it pretty old (lots of cheezy players, boring arcade gameplay...you know, my usual turn-offs :wink: ). So, I soon as NCAA BB 2k3 came out, I sold NBA 2k3 and picked it up instead. The gameplay is alot more fun IMO, especially online, since it doens't consist of 3pter after 3pter after 3pter like NBA 2k3 seemed to be (online). I'll probably get ESPN NBA Basketball (aka NBA 2k4) if we have a league for it though. I was just playing randoms in NBA 2k3 which was boring, but a league might make it better.
Playing NHL2k3 random games are boaring and frustrating too. So I'm sure if NBA2k3 was played it this league with these people it'd be fun.
I will head the NFL League. I think we should just wait for the new one to come out though....since it is soo close to coming out. But yea, I will run that if thats ok Tris.

hey i'm totally for the idea of a football and Basketball league. The problem is the NHL and this site is taking up most of my time. If anyone wants to take control and lead it up, i'm more then willing to help on my end (eg with scoreboards of somekind)
I would be more than glad to head the NFL department. As for you Ska...it was a one night deal, I have not worn a skirt since!
