I use the defaults with 11 minute quarters. Plays pretty realistic out of the box. I am thinking about bumping the minutes up to 12, but this makes it hard to set aside time to get a whole game in. If only they had mid-game saves. On the topic of mid-game saves, I don't see why this isn't standard in sports games. They are in every other game out there. Only a few sports games have used this great feature.
i see lots of missed layups, maybe im doing it wrong. i have this game at the release, but didnt start my chise until now.
Did you get the patch for the game. I used to notice lots of missed layups, but they have been tamed down after tha patch.

I think it will patch the franchise as well. You might want to up the layup success slider (I think that is what it is called)
I basically either go default sliders or I will change them to the league settings to try and get similar gameplay as if it was a league game, but that doesn't always work. A good place to find an assortment of sliders is over at www.operationsports.com.
