I love Yankee Fans. They boo the hell out of him all the time, he starts off the season Hot, and everyone loves him. I can't wait until he hits his first slump of the season and they start booing him again. Can't stand damn Yankee Fans
I don't agree with the boo's but we do expect him to come up with some clutch hits and a batting average over .200 in October. So its finally nice to see him adjusting to the Big Apple (and playing well). I just thought it was funny to see that on the back page of the paper. Normally the media stirs a lot of this up all by themselves (hence the pic). Also he will probably be gone next year as he will opt out of his contract but I guess only time will tell....
Is that right? I thought he wanted to be a "Yankee" It's also pretty stupid to throw away 25 Mill a year (or whatever ungodly amount it is), but I guess he's got enough, and would still get probably the sickest contract in all of baseball again.
yeah actually I think he has 2 or 3 years on his current deal and he would be seeking a longer one (similar money) I guess 7+ years. Also there is a shot at the end that the Yankees may jump in and offer an extension to him but nothing is going to happen until after the season...
you Yankees fans get really excited over a few big hits in April.... haha ever heard of a guy named David Ortiz?
Yankee's-Red Sox, Red Sox-Yankee's..... either way you guys are going to be fighting for 2nd in the AL east this year anyway
is anyone watching the Yankee - Red Sox game tonite? What the heck is Manny Ramierez wearing on his head?
met fans only recent memory of winning a championship was 21 years ago and RK was 5 years old... Also I have no idea why they were wearing green tonight..
is Arod superman? My god, i can't recall a batter ever being on such a hot streak, Tonight 2 HR's and 4 RBI's
To bad Rivera blew ANOTHER save, lol. He is off to a horrible start. The Red Sox played amazing in the late innings.
I dont know. But i do know Ortiz has lots of time to polish his, seeing how he cant play the field and sits on the bench half the game. Good thing the American League invented the DH to give Big Sloppy something to do!
