Hey Everyone, I've been working on the MLB 2K9 online league system for awhile now and wanted to see if there were any stats or features the community would like to see (for the online leagues) this year. The floor is yours!
I've heard that before and really, does someone want to play right field? lol Maybe 2 balls get hit your way all game.... lol I'm not commenting on if this is or isn't in the game this year, Just that for some sports team play doesn't translate well
I just want better online play that is lag free. That's the biggest concern I have with the game. The past two years it's just been awful to play online. If it's terrible like it has been in the past few seasons, I feel bad for you Tris because you work so hard on this stuff and people can't utilize it because the online game play is terrible. That said, I didn't do any 2K powered leagues last year with MLB because of the fact the online play was so bad. So unfortunately I can't give you any improvements to make.
Show us a field online where players hit to. Some cool graphics and **** in it. Like maybe you click on the player and where they hit is displayed with a ball flying from home plate into the field or wherever. Show us cool charts for pitching too. The sky is the limit!
I think both of those ideas are good. I would love for the game to be lag free and each player should have a tendencies chart. Like i would have an overall tendencies chart, and how i hit and where i hit with certain players would be another separate chart. Lagging is really the thing that i hope is fixed. I know of some people who did not buy the game last year because of the lag. One thing that could be added is real player emotions. If players are psyched up after a big play in real life, they should be like that in the game. EX: If Carlos Zambrano makes a tough situation strikeout they should have him all pumped up and yelling as he is walking off the field. Same goes for homeruns and hits and catches. In season mode there should be a better and longer world series celebration. That is all of my input. Good Luck Tris!
Meatballs, meatballs, meatballs........ELIMINATE THEM!!!!!!!!!!! That and it seemed the hitting was waaaay too random and you needed to be too perfect at times to make solid contact. However, if the meatballs where gone, the game would've been much more enjoyable online.
