i like it then the years before. when i used to play the years before my frame rate to me seamed choppy alot and this years is really fluid. i am really looking forward to march now!!

Much like years in the past, i love the 2k baseball. The demo i think a lot of people will find it much easier to execute pitches than last years product. This should draw more interest from people as one of the biggest complaints i heard from people was the new pitching engine. Just from playing the demo for an hour, I never even threw one "meatball", so thats good to see. The hitting and fielding are basically the same to me, no problems or complaints to report. Gameplay much smoother than past years. Looks to be fun as hell!
apparently there is something wrong with the rosters in the franchise mode... http://www.pastapadre.com/6559/serious-problem-with-mlb-2k9-franchise-mode-discovered#respond
I downloaded it the other day, it seems a lot better then previous years. This year I have a ps3 so it will be tough to decide which game I want to buy. The one thing that worried me is I was playing as iwamura (spelling?) First swing I took was a 450ft homerun which worries me a little. That was the one thing that bothered me in the previous games was the power.
Ya if you use the left stick to "swing for the fense" then you'll hit a good amount of HR's with the default sliders. Thats basically like the old "b = power swing" system. In the game you can use the "hit direction influence" slider to tone down the home runs a lot which is what we'll be doing for the online leagues
It's good to know there are sliders to change the power. Looking forward to it. I'm too big of a baseball fan not to grab this game.
