Is there anyone here that plays MM3 still and would like to race tonight in a team setting? Being good is not a prerequisite so if you're interested please post. My team is having trouble filling 4 racers for our event each week so any help would be appreciated. Thanks. 8)
What's the game? checkpoint, CTG... and what time? I'm not sure if I'll be able to yet but I'd like to know some details.
Here are the rules: Foundation: Midtown Madness 3 The focus of events will be on having fun and hanging out with your friends in a competetive way of course. Teams: You will control who is on your team - no restrictions. Each team may have up to 4 riders available for racing each week. This means you may want a few extra just in case - like 5 or 6 total - to make up for absences. Each team will have a Spokesman that will post that his team is ready to race for the coming event in the appropriate thread. Then the team matchups will be made. (It will be important that the spokesman make sure he can field a team - full or at least nearly full - before posting this so the other team is not left with no one to compete against). Teams will likely be added and dropped throughout the season - so if you missed the first event don't worry about it. Rules: Absolutley no using of glitches at all. Teams that are caught using glitches will be banned and disqaulified. No subs allowed during Matches unless there is a problem with members synqing up. Remember Try to direct connect your Xbox for all matches so thisdoes not become a problem. As problems arise more rules might be added. Lets make sure to keep this fun and fair. Events: Best of five games. 1st game CTG Paris Any Car Gold Weight Heavy Random Respawn First team to 600pts Wins 2nd Game Stayaway D.C. Random Limited Map Any Car 6 min time limit 3rd Game Tag D.C. Any Car Random Limited Map No time limit 4th Game Loser of first three games chooses any game type any filter.* 5th Game Winner of first three games chooses any game type any filter.* * = Any game type, any car class, any weather, any map etc. Schedule: Events will occur Wednesdays at 9:30pm EST. 2 teams will match up and compete in a series of events lasting approximately 45 minutes to an hour. Events begin Oct 1st. Yes that's this coming Wednesday.
I loved this game, but it got old quick with other games that came out right after it. But I still have it and would love to get some more life out of it.
just to warn you though i havent touched the game in over a month. But with the mk2 serpent i think i will be able to hold my own.
That's okay if you're rusty. Most of us only play once a week and that's for the league session. Everyone has all the cars unlocked pretty much so I would be careful using the Sepent based on lackluster acceleration. I think you (us) would get owned using that.
i just love using it because the things sticks the ground like no other. When i used to play all the time i could win a game of tag against lotus' and vette's using the audi s4, all because i could out manuever the pack. That was at my "prime" though and i would probably get owned like well there is a whole thread about that so go check that out for an example.
hey darthro if i get the gold im heading to the grassy noles, that will usually waste a ton of time and it makes it really hard for the other team to get it back.
