Madden League Wannab

As previously discussed, team selection will be done using a lottery draft. For the details on how it works, refer to this thread.

Below is a list of the those who have signed up and the number of balls in the lottery. Kaabik is the only guys with 5 lottery balls as the other returning members(*) have elected to keep their team from last seaon rather than enter the draft. Those with 3 balls are members who have participated in three or more leagues but were not in the Madden league last season. Finally, those with only 1 lottery ball are those relatively new to the site and have participated in fewer than 3 leagues here at LG. If I've made a mistake, please PM and let me know. (This should only be the guys with 1 lottery ball.)

If you're name is not in blue, you're wrong and stand the risk of losing your spot if you do not confirm your spot by Sunday at 7:00pm EST.

Please make a note of the teams in bold as they are already taken and will not be available to you when it comes time to make your selection. Also keep in mind that despite better odds, you may end up picking after someone with fewer balls than you.

We will probably be posting the list of those who signed and the number of lottery balls for each by tomorrow. You have until 7pm EST on Sunday to dispute any discrepancy in your ball count, confirm your interest in the league, or to drop.

Remember, by confirming, you are only confirming your interest to play. We currently stand at 30 teams with 1 or 2 more possible additions. If we are unable to fill the league, it is a very real possibility that the league will be capped at 28 teams with those left over deamed as alternates. I hope that it doesn't come to that but understand any decision will be made in the overall interest of the league. Nothing personal should be inferred or implied by any decision made.

At 7:01pm EST, we'll run the draft order and begin team selection by 8pm EST. It would be a great benefit to the league to have as many of you as possible watching the boards so that the actual selection process doesn't take very long. Ideally, I'd love to have it done Sunday night though that's probably a stretch.

Let me be clear. Anyone that drops from the league after confirming and after the draft order is processed, will be banned for that and the following Madden season. Dropping because you're not happy with your draft position will not be tolerated. Honestly, I don't think that will be a problem. Don't prove me wrong.
