Would really appreciate a like, comment on the video itself. - Presentation (Announcers, Mascots, Arenas), obvious but not mentioned - Goalie Glove (old news, but since this trailer was made in advance, this shows that they worked on fixing some basic goalie things early) - Goalie Momentum/Questionable Positioning during Triangle Play - Kronwall Sidestep - Taresenko Reaching for the Puck Goalies seemed to use old animations but since the announcement for new goalie controls was just announced it doesn't surprise me as this trailer was probably made weeks in advance while they were still working on the new goalie features. In any trailer they're going to show more goals than saves anyway. I think we only got 1 save and it wasn't even that special, just a basic one off the pad. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here are the links for NHL 15 @ E3 and then compare it to 16. 15 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jEgFzpsPMA 16 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IDumJG4RXt8 The E3 trailer for 15 was mainly slow-mos of visuals, and 95% of the hockey stuff shown were clips lasting maybe half a sec with constant editing. The 1 clip we do get to see is Kane's backhand top shelf. This was because EA knew they had nothing to show off except the visuals. For 16, although it was theatrical footage and not gameplay, we got to see a decent amount of clips and plays than lasted more than half a second. And some of the clips show off what they are featuring (side step, puck pickup, precision skating, goalie stance). It might be theatrical, but it seems that they're at least trying to match it with what they're promoting. Whether these features work out in game will remain to be seen.
