PSN LGWJC 25 Timeline

LGCHL - World JR Championship Season 25

WJC Criteria

WJC is for Veterans, Amateurs, Draft Picks, or Prospects who:

· Ended the season on a CHL roster (or TC), Eliminated from LGCHL XBX/PSN S45/S24 playoffs, and NOT on an AHL or NHL (active/17 man-roster) roster.

WJC Position Changes

If you would like to play a different position (for WJC) than what you signed up for already, please submit it in the Position Change Thread. All positions change requests MUST be made by the player in the Position Change Thread. The staff in charge of the WJC tournament will mark it as Done once your position
has been changed.

The deadline for submission will be (August 10th2023 @ 4 PM ET)

WJC Timeline

· Sign-ups open: Sunday July 17th, 2023
· Ownership applications: SOFT CLOSE Wednesday, July 26th @ 7pm ET
· Owners/Team amount Announced: Thursday, August 3rd @ 8pm ET
· Draft for WJC: - Thursday, August 10th @ 9 PM ET

· WJC Round Robin play:
· Week 1: August 13th-15th
· Week 2: August 20th-22nd

· Week 3: August 27th-29th
· Week 4: September 3rd-5th


· Playoffs:
· Round Robin Week 1: September 10th-12th
· Round Robin Week 2: September 17th-19th


· Medal Rounds:
· Round Week 1: September 24th-26th
· Round Week 2: October 1st-3rd




WJC Format
· Each Team will have 1 Owner, 1 GM and 1 AGM.
· Each team will be required to draft 14 Players.
· Each team is required to carry 9 Forwards 6 Defensemen and 2 Goalies.
· Games times are same as season 45: 8:30-9:05-9:40 for Round robin play
· Playoff game times are: Sun-Mon-Tues
*THESE WILL BE put to vote for owners*

· Players that quit or are removed from WJC will receive a 2-season ban.
· Any situation not covered by this document or the LGCHL Constitution will be reviewed and adjudicated by the LGCHL Commissioner.
