LG Media: Help Fix One-Timers

One major issue people in the 6s community have seemed to complain about a lot this year is the amount of missed one timers, either whiffing or just catching and Wristing or flopping it.

EA replied to someone's Twitter asking for videos of this happening. If anyone has some please post it here or reply to the tweet posted below.

If not try to remember to start recording them in your games and hopefully we can work with EA to get them fixed. Thanks

Apparently these "builds" we play with are 2nd line guys (or 3rd idk), statistically. A 2nd line dude in the NHL would hit a one timer everytime he got a pass unless it was a shitty pass.

Also whiffing on rebounds near the net.

If you try to one time a rebound you will miss 100% of the time even with 99 overall hut players

there are a good number of things within the game that just blow complete asshole. eashl has been in existence for how many years now? and somehow we're still talking about whiffing on one-timers, holding up for a one-timer and when the pass is off-line your player continues with the one-timer attempt even after the puck bounces behind you off the boards like he's some sort of fucking tard, missing the net from the crease, sailing shots directly INTO THE CROWD, pucks going directly through teammates during cycling attempts, being able to plow the shit out of the goalie and get an interference penalty 1 out of 83 (@jackD00P) times. EA probably knows exactly whats wrong with their game, but they'd prefer to fix things just to break them again, so when they fix them AGAIN it can be reintroduced as a new feature. That was a direct quote from a dev, btw... that when an old feature gets reintroduced, it becomes a new feature again. Almost 10 years of eashl and the same trash just gets fixed and broken over and over again. There comes a time when you just have to stop repeating yourself and accept the game for what it is.

How about they fix slap shots as your player is skating forward..90% of the time he whiffs on it. That also needs to be fixed...god damn it EA FIGURE IT OUT ALREADY

Fuck the one timers REMOVE AUTO ANIMATIONS AND INTRODUCE A NEW FEATURE CALLED CUSTOM BUILDS IN "NO SKILL GAP 17"

 

It's worth mentioning that vision control is still shit as well. You have to make a genuine effort and battle all of the ridiculous animations to square your guy up to a passer to even get in the proper position to whiff on a one-timer. It's generally worse when I use LT to try and square my guy up.

if they played the game they should know whats wrong with it. i've had discussions with the devs over both twitter and less productive ones on the forums. they like it the way it is. it's a simulation.
