With the Halo 3 season over, and the next season on the horizon, I have talked with a few people here at LG and have asked if it would be possible to change to COD4 for next season. We can do this if there is enough interest in changing to COD4, other wise we will just continue with the Halo game. If we were to switch, the team names and forums would stay the same since Tris10 is busy with other LG duties, it would just be easier to use what we have. A scoreboard would be out for a little ahile, but I can make some threads with some nice standings and stats posts/pictures, etc. So post up what ou would prefer and lets get the next season started! I myslef find myself playing COD4 more then Halo and would prefer to switch to COD and I do believe that there would be more interest in the game.
My time has become extremely limited since I became a GM in the team hockey league. I could probably only make it to one or two matches. I would be up for a switch to COD4, however one thing that would need to be addressed is with the rank system, players are no longer starting on equal ground, whereas with Halo3 or GOW everyone has access to the same weapons and thereby not creating an advantage for one team. Just something I thought I should mention.
Ya, i have already taken this into consideration. There will be certain "classes" each week to keep it fresh and fair for those that are ranked lower and dont have access to all the weapons and perks.
No, it's actually not much better. It's a matter of taste, I think both are great. I could go for a switch.
Cool. just as I suspected, that most would prefer a switch. I'll get a sign up thread going soon so that we can get started after the hollidays.
I'll probably have to opt out either way. Spring semester is going to be a whammy, so I won't really have much time to play. I'm also still a little peeved at some of the turnout in the Halo 3 season that just ended.
Yeah, I don't have COD4 either..have fun guys. I've been running a H3 league myself and it's been pretty fun...if anyone's interested, let me know. Otherwise maybe we can hook up sometime and play.
Would be nice, but it was too hard to keep the Halo league active. Everyone was more interested in the COD4 league, so the switch was made. Dont think that both leagues would work.
I kinda wish I was around for the halo league... COD kinda bores me... camp... kill... airstrike... helicopter... die... repeat... good luck with it tho... if you guys go back to alien weapons and jumping 20 feet into the air.... I`m game... or if you can set up an interest thread to see if we can get people to still play... that would be cool as well....
