    In the spirit of Christmas I decided to write a poem myself

    Twas' the night before LG and all through the game
    Not a single player awake, while Aftermath changes his 10th name

    By morning each teams lines were put in with care
    As Aftermath was hoping only third lines were there

    He knew on the bad teams the players never stayed
    Remembering back to S16 he couldn't buy a win, even had he paid

    For Christmas most players wish to win the Calder Cup as their final prize
    Aftermath's wish was different, a winning record would be enough of a surprise
