FYI - Screen Scraper FYI, I'm in the process of making a halo 2 screen scaper before week 3 starts. This means score keepers will only be needed to to input the team stats (ie Team A 3-2 Team B) and the screen scraper will grab all the other stats. This should reduce the time between matches from 10-20 min to 1-2
Woohoo, despite the fact my LIVE crapped out last night, I was ready to do it. I hear it is quite a lot of work, but I say nothing compared to Madden league.
tris the live scoring idea was an excellent idea and theoretically sounded awesome, but when implemented it caused more problems than not. the other thing you have to look at is, were enough people online during matches to look at live scores? besides the ones that were already in matches.?? thanks for making a scraper i'm sure everyone will be thankful for it.
the scraper is awesome tri10, however there seems to be a problem with bungie.net stats at the moment as you pointed out.. in yesterdays game (bomb on burrial) i had 68 kills / 26 headshots. the bungie site shows this game as 50 kills /15 headshots. something is a miss, as I perfectly remember yesterdays number of kills reported in the post game carnage report. Someone even went as far as comenting on my number of kills and it wasnt 50, it was 68.. wtf is up with bungie, man..... can anyone else on that game remember their stats?? where they skewed as well?
In our sunday night match we all got divided and the stats we put in the scoreboard were overridden by the scraper earlier and now I lost a bunch of kills for that but oh well. Guess you will just have to live with it the way it is
its cool man, it should be much easier for ppl now, im even happy as it took 1 suicide away lol (dont ask, bad laggy game and me with a rocket launcher hehe)
